Just a few hours to go and the curtain goes up for the start of Glorious Goodwood 2010. Five days of top class racing action to keep us entertained right through each afternoon until the finale on Saturday.
The feature races for day one are the Gordon Stakes, no Harbinger this year but Mark Johnston’s Corsica looks tempting, the Molecomb Stakes and theBetfair Cup registered as the Lennox Stakes which looks to be a cracking renewal with the likes of Finjaan who goes for back to back victories and Barry Hill's Red Jazz who seems to have it all and bids to get rid of his bridesmaid status, that is of course if you are brave enough to ignore Sir Michael Stoute's Main Aim.
Day one action kicks off at 14.10 and the action continues right through until the final race at 17.40, with the main races shown live on channel 4.

Phil Taylor v Raymond Van Barneveld
7.00pm
Best of 35 Legs
Phil Taylor's total dominance continued last night with a win in the semi's against Simon Whitlock to book his place in this evening's final clash against Raymond van Barneveld.
Van Barneveld had a similar easy ride against Wade, this will be his first time in the World Matchplay final and he has made his way here by playing at the top of his game, he must be feeling confident that he can get the better of Taylor tonight.
The pair have met on two occasions already this year with Taylor being the victor in both, infact Taylor has won the last eleven meetings between the two with Van Barneveld having to look back to June 2008 to find a win against Taylor.
Blackpool wanted this final and they have got it, it's the world number one and the world number two going head to head once again, Taylor of course has the edge but Van Barneveld will be a tough cookie, an exciting final looks to be on the cards!

World Matchplay of Darts - Saturday 24th July - Semi Final Day - Best Of 33 Legs
7.10pm
Wade v Van Barneveld
Wade takes the stage to defend the title he win in 2007, he arrives at the semi's after a tough match against Wayne Jones but eventually took the win 16- 12. Van Barneveld knocked out his buddy and fellow countryman Stompe after coming back from 10 -9 down.
9.00pm
Whitlock v Taylor
Taylor now has to dispose of Whitlock to get his hands on his 11th title, the world number 1 beat Kevin Painter 16 -4 to set up this clash and looks in no mood to let anyone prevent him from taking the crown once again. Whitlock is having a terrific debut here despite not feeling 100% but life will no doubt get a whole lot tougher come 9pm this evening.

It was 2001 when Galileo won the Derby and from Epsom he went to Ascot to win the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes and no Derby winner since, has been able to match that.
Expectations are high this year that the Prince Khalid Abdullah owned colt Workforce will put an end to that drought. His performance in the Derby where he won by seven lenghts suggests that we now have a candidate that can pull it off on Saturday.
Reports from his camp are confident that all is well, his preparation has gone without so much of an hiccup and all are looking forward to a very exciting day.
However before the celebrations begin, Workforce has to see off a total of 6 rivals which include Cape Blanco who got the better of Workforce in the Dante Stakes before going on to win the Irish Derby and Harbinger who is on a string of three wins this term.
And then if course there is Youmzain, could this be his year? He has twice had to settle for places, in 2007 and 2008.
The filly Daryakana and Confront who acts as pacemaker for Workforce make up the small but exciting field.
